Watch iTunes movies on Kindle Fire with best video quality
It is easy to sync iTunes purchased video contents included with movies, TV shows, music videos to your iOS devices iPad, iPod, iPhone, Apple TV. However, things turn to be different when it comes to getting these video files from iTunes to an Android-based Tablet such as the Kindle Fire. The problem with iTunes is that DRM attaches to purchased iTunes movies and TV shows doesn't allow non-authorized devices(Android included) to play.
So before transferring iTunes videos to Kindle Fire for playing back, you may have to remove DRM from iTunes and convert the iTunes m4v to Kindle Fire h.264-compliant mp4. Of course, here we need to get some help from a 3r-party tool. DRM removal software varies. A recommended one is Pavtube's ChewTune, a top iTunes m4v Converter for Kindle Fire.
The program is a powerful yet easy-to-use DRM remover and converter tool which can help you strip DRM from iTunes and change file extension from ".m4v" to ".mp4" the Kindle Fire can recognize and play. To be honest, I've had success using the iTunes to Android Tablet Converter to convert iTunes movies to a format playable by Kindle Fire. I've found the quality to be excellent, and see no difference when compared to playing iTunes movies themselves. Below is the steps.
Guide - Convert and Put iTunes movies to Kindle Fire for playing in Full-screen
Note: For Windows users, just follow the detailed guide to finish your work about converting iTunes movies to Kindle Fire. For Mac users, you can follow the iTunes m4v Converter for Mac to finish your work on Mac OS X Snow Leopard, Mac OS X Mountain Lion(10.8) etc.
Step 1. Free Download and run the iTunes to Kindle Fire Converter and import your iTunes files to the program.
Step 2. Select the output format. Here I recommend you "Android > Amazon Kindle Fire H.264(*.mp4)" which is a format special designed for Kindle Fire Tablet and also supply full screen effect.
Tips: You can also click "Settings" to set video resolution, bitrate, frame rate. Remember the file size is based more on bitrate than resolution which means bitrate higher results in big file size, and lower visible quality loss.
Step 3.After above steps, just click "Convert" to start removing iTunes DRM protection and converting iTunes M4V to Kindle Fire H.264-compliant MP4. The conversion proceeds as iTunes plays the movies. So DO NOT turn off iTunes until the conversion is completed. Now go get a cup of coffee (conversion takes time).
The software works like most other DRM removal softwares I've used. The difference here is you'd better set iTunes not to remember the playback position. Here's way to go: Launch iTunes, and switch to Movies under LIBRARY. Select the videos you’d like to convert, right click to select Get Info -> Options -> Remember position -> No -> OK.
Once the process completes, download and transfer the DRM-free iTunes videos to Kindle Fire. Then you are free to enjoy and view iTunes movies on Kindle Fire anytime and everywhere.
